Dr. Enrico Perini

Enrico studied medical biotechnology at the University of Milan (Italy). Afterwards he did his doctoral thesis in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Marino Zerial at the Max-Planck-Institute of Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden (Germany) where he graduated in 2013. As postdoc, he gained skills in protein engineering in the laboratory of Dr. Ünal Coskun at the Paul Langerhans Institute Dresden (Germany) and in the laboratory of Prof. Stephan Grill, at the Biotec Center of the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany). In May 2019 he joined the Opsyon research team at the Gene Center Munich. Enrico is very organized, has high scientific standards, looks for new methods to improve processes, is result-driven and determined to find efficient ways to prove hypotheses and reach set goals quickly. At Opsyon he is responsible for the CMC evaluation and in vitro assay development and the coordination of the scientific team to reach given milestones in time.
